What are Retargeting Pixels?
What are Retargeting Pixels?
Retargeting pixels are powerful marketing tools that enable precise tracking and conversion of potential customers. By leveraging these custom pixels, businesses can strategically display personalized ads on third-party websites, effectively re-engaging and converting their target audience for improved sales and ROI.
You can assign custom retargeting Pixels for each short link. These pixels will be triggered upon redirection. However, due to the nature of these pixels, a custom intermediary page is required, so users will be waiting for 2 seconds before getting redirected to the target website.
Tracking pixels are used by Ads platforms such as Facebook and Google Ads to allow you to gather data on your customers and how they behave on your website.
By adding your Pixel ID from either of the platforms, you will be able to optimize your marketing campaign simply by using short URLs.
How to add a retargeting pixel to your short links?
- Navigate to the Pixel page.
- After that, add your desired pixel, including a name and the pixel ID.
- When shortening or editing a link, click on the advanced option browse to the end of the block, and you will see an option to select the Pixel.
